Why would I include videos here that address subjects like the following?

  • The Power of Vulnerability
  • The Brain in Love
  • Why We Love and Why We Cheat
  • The Secret to Desire in Long Term Relationships

I recommend them to you because these subjects are quite common in the context of polyamorous relationships, especially when we conduct both long term relationships and engage in new love relationships.  Lots of people handle this well, but most of them had to learn how to do this.  In order to learn how, we first have to understand the basics of human nature, i.e. why we feel and act as we do sexually and emotionally, and why this sometimes raises conflict that feels very threatening to our wellbeing.

I recommend you set aside some time to watch these and give them careful thought.  Even better, watch them with your partner(s) and discuss them afterward.  You will be amazed at how much enlightenment can be gained from a 20 minute video when the people speaking know what they are talking about.  And it's all free!  Now go to it.

Love withers under constraint; its very essence is liberty.
It is compatible neither with obedience, jealousy nor fear.
It is there most pure, perfect, and unlimited when
its votaries live in confidence, equality and unreserve.
